Photo of The Week

I choose this photo because it looks like its very long, but its really not.

Patterns of Nature

This is a good photo because is was in focus and the angle was great. I was actually going to take it at my eye level to see the little ants and spiders and other tree insects but, looking upwards on the tree I seen green.

Patterns

The first photo is my favorite, because its shows the pattern and how the bottle interrupts it. It reminds me of going green.

Favorite Photo

Group Photo

POSITIVES

  • The positioning was great
  • The place was good

NEGATIVES

  • Everyone wasn't smiling
  • There was people in the background

Framing

Framing enhances a photo by cropping it to make it look clear. I choose this frame by observing each area in the school and realizing the gated windows had shapes. The frame made the subject stand out by the frame being darker than the subject. The drawback I had was keeping the position steady for the subject.

Action Photograhs

Multiple shot mode effected the quality of the photos by taking at least 4 photos to capture the right one in action. The hardest part of taking action photos was knowing when to start taking them to capture the right one.

Contrast

This composition is organic. I put the mode dial on portrait, I choose this composition because it was already in form and the flower stood out. I choose portrait because it was up close and personal.

Rule Of Thirds

When I first seen the subject, she was sitting in the spot she is standing in and I observed her angles and the background. Yes my photo came out the way I expected. Using the Rule Of Thirds enhanced my photo by the background having its own "spotlight". I put the mode dial on auto, because it gave the photo more light to her skin tone and the background.

Night Portrait Post

 Without Tripod

With Tripod

The second photo is clearer because the tripod helped keep the camera steady. It also helped level the height and angles, which are very important in taking a photo.

Use of Landscape Mode

When taking this photo i was determine to take a photo of the tree because, I was surrounded by them. I picked a thick tree with nice green leaves at an upward angle.

Landscape VS Portiat

Landscape

VS

Portiat

You can see the difference in both of the photo's, in the landscape photo you can see the focus in the trees and sculpture in the background. And in the portiat photo you can see the focus in her face. Landscape mode would be a better choice when your taking photos in the forest or mountain zone.

Depth Of Focus

When i took this picture i set the camrea up to portrit. I stood about 3-4 feet away from the person at an equivlant angle. in the photo the hand is in focus and the face and background is blurry. Some problems you might have taking this photo is how far away you should be standing in order to really get the hand to focus.
